Fiber-optic cable OKP for direct burial installation, reinforced with FRP rods.
Cable is designed for installation in grounds of 1-5 groups (it depends on a construction), ducts, tubes, tunnels in case of high requirements of crush strength and stability to external electromagnetic action. OKP from flame retardant materials is designed for installation according to exclusive standards of fire safety.
Loose tube cable. Central strength member is made of fiber reinforced plastic (FRP). Polymer tubes and plastic fillers are SZ-stranded around central strength member. Optical fibers are placed inside loose optical modules. Interstice inside modules and between modules is filled with hydrophobic filler. Cable core is wrapped by aramid yarns. PET-tape is imposed on the cable core. PE – jacket is extruded over the core. An armour from FRP rods is formed around single jacketed cable with jacket of high density polyethylene extruded over the armour. In case of exclusive standards of fire safety outer jacket is made of flame retardant halogen free (HF) compound.
